Hartley's value Jabiru at 100cps based on "long-term" commodity prices. The forecasts they use for zinc prices are 1.51 for 2007, 1.20 for 2008, and 0.95 for 2009. Zinc is currently trading at 1.99 a pound with zinc stokcs set to fall below 100k tonnes next week. It seems a reasonable risk/return to me to own at 86c given broker valuations use zinc prices 25-100% lower than current prices for the next 1-3years keeping in mind plummeting LME stocks might push zinc prices higher still. If zinc stays up around $2 a pound then Jabiru is worth in the order of $2 per share....Something to remember the longer zinc prices remain up here!
