I remember it well...heads...4c to 11.5c
oppies 1.4c to 7.2c all in on day!!!
Problem there was a convertable note of US$6,000,000.
A Californian company had just handed over 1 or 2 million dollars to the company and had been given equivalent shares at a 20% discount to 4c (say 3.2c)
The day after this rapid rise they basically dumped all their new shares onto the market...it was a blood bath!!!
I was a long-term holder who basically sold half my holdings on the first day...to get a free ride with the other!!!
Was very lucky not to have been killed outright.
I presume the daytraders involved NEVER FORGOT!!
Sorry Kates...knowing both stories...I heed your warning...but don't see the similarity!
