Hi Nolly, IBG price has move in step with Zn price, only that IBG moves are amplified, both on the way up and down.
From the low in Jan 2016 to high in Feb 2017, Zn price move from $1500/t to $3000/t = 100% gain. IBG went from 4c to 12c = 300% gain.
Then on the way down to June, Zn price fell from $3,000 to $2400 = 24% loss and IBG fell from 12 c to 6c = 50% loss.
Since then Zn is up to $3100 = 29% rise and IBG is up to 9c = 50% rise.
Further Zn price rise seems likely to be amplified in IBG price rise.
