I agree tangible that it would be great to see Chalice put holes in the whole 26km but logically I don't see BHP with their recent move away from oil/gas waiting that long and then having more competitive interested parties in the mix.
as to what/how much they pay I will happily defer to the chalice team. They have sold assets before and remunerated shareholders well and boosted the company coffers which put them in the place to explore and find julimar and the other projects.
how much BHP (or another) may be willing to pay could depend on so many factors. Smaller upfront cash/shares with more in royalties. Greater upfront amount for less royalties later. Here I have no experience to draw from but yes would love it to be some huge number.
having watched the price drop from 930 to where we are now has been tough but patience is my game at the moment and I hope it's the best play I ever make
