Pros: Canadian investors are seemingly more proactive and savvy when it comes to MC and the potential for recreational revenue.
Canadian cannabis stocks have gone through the roof leaving Australian stocks in their dust.
Immediate capital gains should be significantly higher with a Canadian listing.
Harvest One have the immediate revenue generating subsidiaries.
Harvest One can respond internally to rapidly changing legislative requirements swiftly, and have the personnel to accommodate those requirements etc. in house with Canadian specialists.
Have the personnel to negotiate and adhere to local customs etc.
Harvest One shares should list at or near 75c, approx. parity with the AUD should mean greater returns based on historical IPO's.
Canadian peers suggest MMJ is undervalued, a rational market should see Harvest One reach equilibrium with its peers much quicker than MMJ in a misunderstood AUS market.
Easier for a Canadian based organisation that is communicating with, and following Health Canada protocols.
Easier operating in one jurisdiction for growing, consumption, and exporting (where applicable).
Few LP's in Canada. Licensing contraints already understood, AUS licensing still under a cloud.

Cons: Fringe owner (MMJ) having a greater than 60% stake meaning the majority of profits go to them.
MMJ holders by virtue of greater than 60% ownership have majority voting rights.
Cross border regulations may be prohibitive.
Commercialisation will be at least one to two years away.
Floating dollar, rises and falls dependent on foreign exchange rates. Could get messy if there's economic downturns, interest rates, global issues, etc. etc.

Still thinking, but how's that? Tired and a late night working, but I'm happy to hold my MMJ, and wait and see whether the AUS market wakes up as to what MMJ has to offer with its stake in Harvest One. Long on!
