We were looking awesome up until i went oversees at the start of September. Had the driest September on record and only had 8mm for October so far and our average is 68mm. Need rain in this week or people will start cutting canola, partly due to a heavy frosting. Wheat and Barley still ok but yield potential probably around 20% of what it would of been with average spring rainfall. They are predicting abit of rain this week and maybe 30mm in a fornight, this would be a get out of jail free card. Hard to believe the rainfall patterns in a susposed secure high rainfall area.
