One of the nation's most high-profile prosecutors is stepping down after 12 years in office. Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance Jr. will likely be best remembered for his face-offs with famous names, including former film producer Harvey Weinstein and former French politician Dominique Strauss-Kahn. Vance also leaves a major piece of unfinished business — his criminal case against the Trump Organization.
So it is the office that is overzealous.
