Joe - we need a chart overlaying the US 10 Year T-Note vs the USDPOG over the last several months.
Do people understand the difference between T-Bills, T-Notes and T-Bonds?
Do you mean the second or the third? This makes a difference for such a Chart.
The 10 Yr T-Note is the Benchmark ($TNX) (Notes can be 1-10 Years), typically tracked by residential mortgages, which are roughly 2% higher. The Yield is currently 1.762%.

In NY, 3.52%, 30 year , Fixed Rate (30 year mortgage is the norm)
The T-Bond is > 10 years, typically 30 years, often called the Long Bond ($TYX). They were withdrawn from auction early this century (don't recall why), and then re-introduced.
