Yeah I am little surprised about the locations being openly discussed. In saying that it's not hard to find out where NXT and Equinix are located and who their clients are if you google. I.e AWS is based in Equinix and the data centres are located in Alexandria where undersea cables from the pacific (US) connect.
AirTrunk's model seems to be one where they sell large chunks of compute to a large consumer (Google, MICROSOFT, AWS, Facebook, etc). In terms of Kmart vs Myer, if AirTrunk wants to sell to the big boys they need to be Tier 3 certified. Which is what they will be doing.
I am keen to understand which major client would have signed up with AirTrunk.
