Good chart, had no idea QLD was so intensive, I would have thought NSW hands down.
I recently bought a new car which was combustion.
Mainly because every so often I go out back where EV infrastructure is non existent and will be non existent for many years to come.
Pulling into a servo and waiting to fuel up for 20 minutes doesn't do it of me here on the Gold Coast. I asked a lot of EV owners and they now wished they didn't and when they on sell will be going either hybrid or back to combustion.
At the dealership 1 out of 15 cars sold are EV and 6 out of 10 are Hybrids.
I used to drive the diesel electrics around the Solomon project and also in Coal at Peak Downs.
These trucks were incredibly fuel efficient but we had the back up & infrastructure.
It will be many years before alternative energy will be proficient within Australia due to politics & misinformation along with current technology that needs to be re-thought from the drawing boards. Twiggy learnt a huge lesson from his foray.
