I am saying only ANO could supply a retail product that sells for this cheap.
With 24% zinc oxide it would take about 17 tubes of this product to equal 1kg of zinc oxide.
So, cost of BASF would be circa $3.00 USD per 8 fl oz tube (remember this is still only a quarter of the product COGS). ANO probably able to do it for circa $1.30 USD or say better than half the price which is more realistic to sell a finished shelf product for this amount.
Considering Coppertone probably wholesale the product for no more than $4 to Walmart, and they still gotta fill the remaining 76% of the tube with things that aren't zinc oxide - how could they do it at BASF's prices?
Another positive thing to consider, even though Coppertone might be selling the product cheap - on my calculations ANO shareholders still getting nearly $2 AUD per 8 fl oz tube they sell. What they gotta be moving globally once they hit their strides after a successful product launch? 1 million units per month?
