justreading, i think it would be crazy to go through that much trouble banking the cheques in their account to get small amount of interest and then reissue them all again manually to return back to the hundreds of people who applied for the extra shares. It will cost them more then the interest they will make from it.

One would think they will keep them on the side and mail them back if they were not thinking of allocating any extras.
Anyway this is only my view but i wont be surprised if they do end up doing what you said.
