I got the Ryobi, because it uses the same batteries as my power tools. One of the bearings on the turbo spinning head thingy seized within a few months, but replaced under warranty.
The turbo spinning head thingy regularly needs cleaning from the dog hairs - but so did the Miele, even the designed for pet hair turbo spinning thingy!
Blowing the filters clean with the blower-vac works well. Filters easy to access and clean. Wonderful not to have a cord trailing around.
