    That is different to the other picture you posted. It's all in line instead of the body being at 90deg like the earlier models.

    The V10 only has the one filter and that pulsing is what it does when there's a blockage. Be careful buying aftermarket filters because they can use inferior material that doesn't flow properly. I also have a Miele that i've had for many years and bought some bags on line that almost cooked the motor because the flow was so bad. I threw them in the bin.

    If you want to try a blower which will get the dirt out of places you can't otherwise and will probably blow that filter clean in seconds, then something like this will do the job and be useful outside and for blowing the water off your car after you wash it.
