I was under the impression that I had an account in joint names.
It seemed that I’ve been conned by a Telstra sales person into signing an NBN package with a fixed line.
What I signed too, is me being the actual account holder giving permission for wife to act on account on my behalf.
Recently, I received a notification to renew the permission to allow my wife to act on my behalf.
Has anyone got a joint account or are their partners in a similar position to me?
