The dividend to the creditors has been delayed due to the claims that some of the shareholders made against the company BBL.

I was wondering if the claim of those shareholders was made in order to delay the distribution of the dividend to the creditors.

The claim was made against BBL after the company settled with those former directors and (my understanding) gave up all the causes of action available to BBL presently and in the future against the former directors. So, the claim was "smartly" made in this regard.

Anyhow, even the distribution of the creditors' contributions to the fighting fund has been delayed.
