G'day SandyBeaches,
I have learnt heaps...
Equities are not the only game in town
I'd rather be a trader than an investor
Technical analysis is amazing
A market is predictable in its irrationality
People would rather do anything than accept losses and move on
When the going gets tough, the strong will shine and the weak will start screaming
People in adversity tend to group together and help each other, even in online communities
Money is not everything
As a trader, if you don't have a trading plan and a set of rules you are not a trader.
Investors are really traders on a longer time span
Short selling and selling have the same effect
You put in the hard yards you reap the rewards
Some friends are only your friends if you never question their beleifs
The majority of players would rather be told how to do things than find out
Those who have been before and survived generally are pretty relaxed the second or third time around
Surround yourself with people who are successful and you are more likely to find out how to be so
Everyone loses (it) sometime
HotCopper is addictive
Sharing skills gets respect
Putting your face in your signature cuts down the number of silly threats
Suspending yourself from hotcopper is a good thing to do occassionally
Those who can can also teach
Conspiracy theories are fun
And lastly but not least.. I still have no idea!
;)
