The company has announced a buy-back, which is a good use of capital, and will result in fewer shares on public offer, meaning a better share for holders in IFM profits and dividends. The company clearly thinks the shares are cheap enough to buy back, and has employed a broking firm to conduct the buy back, which is better than IFM doing it, as some companies stuff up their own buybacks.
At 2.4c dividend per share, fully, franked, the company gives >10% dividend, one of the best on the ASX, and has a PER of 6.79, which is attractive. I'll be interested to see how the buyback goes.
