Solar and Wind farms cannot guarantee how much electricity they can generate in a day, week, month or a year.
This is because there is no guarantee on sunshine or wind to provide this generation.
The companies that build and own these facilities, would not do so unless they had a contract guaranteeing, as a minimum, a fixed annual return on their capital.
So, what organization under writes this guarantee?
Who pays for non-delivery of electricity when the wind doesn't blow?
Has anyone seen a wind or solar farm contract?
The cost of our electricity is to increase by over 50% in the coming 12 months. Why?
Is it to cover the cost of theses wind and solar farm contracts and short falls in delivery?
