Australia is fast becoming an annexed state of the USA. American journalist Max Blumenthal has a very good understanding of what is happening in Australia. Where are the outraged Australian journalists? He observes that on a geopolitical level Australia is becoming an imperial subcontractor to the US and as a journalist he highlights the US pursuit of Julian Assange and their quest to suppress free speech. The Australian government's feeble efforts to press the US to free Julian Assange are only matched by the silence of Assange's fellow Australian Jounalists. Blumenthal goes on to make some very relevant points that our journalists should be making that we should all taking notice of.
