We have become a vassal state politically to the US. It’s hard to fathom why when:
The same US that offshored all its production for multiple industries (courtesy Wall St and a B-grade actor as President: wtf?) to the detriment of its own people and now wants its biggest industry “defence” to fight the Chinese, where it enabled growth and so called power, through its own offshoring processes.
How ironic, and they do it by wanting to use Australia as the jump off point. All so it doesn’t affect mainland US of A.
However, in its rush to sell / donate many of its munitions through Kiev to the detriment of olde enemy “Russia,” does it now have the firepower to go into a protracted war with China?
Well we don’t anyway. We should go our own way. Tie ourselves to a sensible nation, if required, probably not, and not a “gun toting” silly race of people who now realise they doomed their own hegemony because of greed.
Free Assange now.
