BOARD CHANGES AT EUREKA ENERGY

Eureka Energy Ltd (ASX: EKA) is pleased to announce the appointments of a new Acting Chairman and non-Executive Director for the Company.
Mr Ian McCubbing has been appointed Acting Chairman, while Mr Mark Wilson has been appointed non-Executive Director. Mr Graham Dowland retires as Chairman and Mr Tim Grice steps down as a Director. Mr Michael Price remains a Director of the Company.
The Company also wishes to advise that Mr Alex Neuling will replace Ms Julie Foster as Company Secretary. Eurekas registered office and principal place of business also changes to Level 3, 3 Ord Street, West Perth WA 6005.
The new Board will have a continued focus on realising the intrinsic value of the Companys interest in the Sugarloaf US oil and gas project.

Mr McCubbing thanked the outgoing Board for their efforts in the development of Eurekas interest in the Sugarloaf project area within the Sugarkane Gas and Condensate Field centrally located in the Eagle Ford shale play in southeast Texas, USA.
Eurekas acreage is strategically positioned in one of the most significant and economic shale gas plays in North America, said Mr McCubbing.
The new Board, with the addition of new independent corporate experience, now looks forward to assessing the opportunities ahead for Eureka with a view to maximising the value of these assets for our shareholders.

Ian McCubbing
Mr McCubbing is a Chartered Accountant with more than 25 years corporate experience including investment banking experience, principally in the areas of corporate finance and M&A. Ian has spent more than twelve years working with the ASX-listed companies in senior finance roles, including positions as Finance Director and Chief Financial Officer in industrial and mining companies, including most recently as the Chief Financial Officer of GRD Limited.
He is a non-Executive Director of Territory Resources and previously a Director of Northern Mining Limited.

Mark Wilson
Mr Wilson is a Member of the Institution of Engineers, Australia and a Chartered Professional Engineer with an Associateship in Civil Engineering from Curtin University in Western Australia.
He has an extensive business background, mainly in corporate management and project engineering.
This has included site management of remote construction projects, ten years of commercial construction as a founding proprietor of a Perth based company and the past sixteen years in executive, non-executive, consulting and owner roles in resource focused companies. Mark is Managing Director of Legend Mining, and served as a Director of Duketon Goldfields NL in 1995/1996 and of Cambrian Resources NL (Servicepoint Ltd) from 1999 to 2003.

Alex Neuling
Mr Neuling is a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Secretary with over 10 years corporate and financial experience including 6 years as director, chief financial officer & / or secretary of various ASX-listed companies in the oil & gas, mineral exploration, biotechnology and mining services sectors. Prior to those roles, Alex worked at Deloitte in London and Perth. Alex also holds an honours degree in Chemistry from the University of Leeds in the United Kingdom and is principal of Erasmus Consulting Pty Ltd, which provides company secretarial and financial management consultancy services to a variety of ASX-listed and other companies.
Alex was also Company Secretary and Director of Eureka from June 2006 to May 2009.
