Let's say a team, we'll call them The Icecapades , wins a Premiership, but a number of their key players use illicit mind and endurance enhancing drugs on the day. They don't much care for the long term consequences.

Does any of the football codes test for this on GF day? What happens if the winning team produces a positive test to, say, ice or cocaine? As I understand it the tests are not revealed to the club until a third positive test is received.

Are we faced with a situation where it is possible for a team to win 'unclean' and for the AFL to keep the matter secret?

ps. A legend of the AFL now retired told me once that his club used to give him something called "Magic 1000's" on match days if he was injured or had the flu.
