Those were my exact initial thoughts when I read it on the local newspaper. Yet again and if memory serves me right, STO has always maintained that the gas in that part of NSW, was destined to be sold in NSW.

Now, if that private entity gets what they are looking for, and with the change of the Premier in NSW with a more lenient way towards CSG exploration, and a new mining and energy Minister looking after that part of the NSW Business, will they loosen up and reopen some of the tenements previously owned by Metgasco.?? If that was to happen, and with the proven conventional and unconventional gas reserves that MEL had in it's books, we can honestly write off RC's ideas of sending his (CTP's) gas to the East Coast, as NSW could very well become a gas exporter itself.
