Notwithstanding the fact that PWC were really on the ball selling Blacktip gas down the pipe to  IPL at phosphate hill my guess is that CTP/MAC will want to get as much gas down the pipe as possible.


Mereenie is facility limited at 65 TJ/day which is roughly 0.5 C

A am not being silly here because communication is the name of the game and I really feel for shareholders that do not know their way around the complexities of gas units.


So if we say that maximum production from Merrenie  without further capital investment is about 0.5 Pipefulls feeding into a shortfall of say 6-10 Pipefulls & the Narrabri pipeline capacity is say 1.25 Pipefulls and that Incitec Pivot have signed a Heads of Agreement with us of 0.31 Pipefulls we hopefully get things into perspective.

So if the IPL  Heads of Agreement comes to fruition we don't need to sell much more gas. I am sure someone in the 6-10 Pipefull bidders will buy it.

I saw this in a government report so it is no longer confidential but not unexpectedly the CSG projects are not yielding as well as hoped and even a small shortfall will support the East Coast gas price.
