It's just about power to weight and it's the only renewable option at the moment that ticks the transportable box, plus the energy density box for the applications that need it.
sorry but I don't see cargo ships in 10 years running on wind (sails) or batteries. Can you imagine how many would be needed for a transatlantic crossing lol.
