The 55k cut off makes perfect sense as to why there's no ex date.
However, you really need to check with Computershare, or the relevant registry as the brokers aren't giving you reliable information.
I am reliably told that you won't be on the register until the shares have SETTLED. In either direction, that means it's when your broker has passed on your information as paid or been paid to the Share Registry.
All the misinformation is dangerous.
Everyone needs to do their own research and understand that brokers aren't always right (hell, why do you think there are so many stockbroker jokes!) and neither are posters, and that could include me. Didn't want to post again, but some of the stuff posted on here is making me angry (no pun intended!)
