What an excellent clip. It explains thorium reactor technology so much better than my ham-fisted attempt.

It still seems like it'll take some decades of research before one is fired up in large-scale commercial mode. Of course, after that, we'll need to move on to fusion reactors - an energy source that will last for the rest of time (or thereabouts).

Dr Sue Town's little piece took me back many years ago. I worked at Lucas Heights for a few years and was involved in measurements of burnup efficiency with HIFAR. [HIFAR now has a brand spanking new brother some three times bigger.]

So what does all this stuff about thorium reactors with ADS do for MKY? If the world picks up on it and it becomes the power generating source of the future, I'd like to see AB take out some claims on the Kerala beach sands and reward his patient stockholders!
