recent capital raising and now sale of subsiduary mean ILU have no huge debt burden. But demand for mineral sands has slowed substantially and prices have fallen. meanwhile competitors are gearing-up for production. If BHP ever get their monster mineral sand holding in Mozambique going.... the mkt will be flooded. However, ILU SP continues its steady rise with today posting a gain of about 3% with 4 mins left till close. The raising has increased # of shares on issue and consquent dilution of earnings. My query is: At $3.47... has Iluka run their race... at least while the world recession persists??
