The FTSE/XJO "in synch" thing looks like it's a goer but I'll be buggered if I know why - very, very different economies and economic outlooks. All we've got in common are the Minogues (you know the Minogues - plastic tits on one and plastic arse on the other.) Anyway, maybe it's a repeat of the XJO/SPX mirror phenomenon - all markets are still chanelling with the septics and global decoupling from the yanks is just garbage.
I take it from a couple of the posts today that you are a fellow Queenslander - I'm from just up the road a bit in Hervey Bay - famous for sand, whales and Mimi McPherson videos.
