It's an email reply to my question to a French friend.
Sad to see the degradation of France under Macron.
Agree with Nic my friend, extremes on both sides should be detested.

This is a very badthing. Whether it's the extreme left or the extreme right, the future winnerwill understand nothing about the economy and will destroy this country bycontinuing to spend money that we haven't had for a long time.

In the best-case scenario,the winner will only have a relative majority and will find it difficult togovern until the next elections in two years' time. So at best, two years lost.And that's not counting the riots that will erupt if - as seems to be the case- the far right wins. The country will BURN and we're just ONE MONTH away fromthe Olympic Games.... I take back what I said, it's not a "very badthing", it's just the WORST thing that could happen.

No one understandswhat took him. In 2022, he announced that he would be the president who wouldbe so successful that voters would never again vote for the extremes. Two yearslater he let them have his place... what a moron.

Butin the meantime, it's making an incredible mess of national politics, and youcan just take some popcorn and laugh at the disaster !
