Metgasco has not certified any reserves for it's conventional gas.
However as the company says itself there are," Numerous conventional prospects and leads identified, e.g. the Greater
Mackellar structure has potential for 1.3 TCF OGIP"
And as it says in the report you have quoted.."There is estimated to be an additional 11 000 PJ
(10 tcf) of inferred conventional gas resources in recently discovered fields and other fields not booked as part of EDR and SDR"
Now 1.3 tcf is only small fry compared to the offshore reserves of Carnavon and the Browse project but so will the cost of extracting that gas onshore rather than offshore.
And in relation to our little Mel, with a market cap of $40 million, the upside is huge.
