Granted but a large proportion of EV servicing is digital updates that can be performed without a technician touching the car and some of the remainder is washer fluid and wiper blades that can be done by anyone. Brake fluid/pads can last several 100s of 1000s of km if treated gently. Tyres, dampers and alignments can be sorted out at a tyre shop so all a dealership is needed for is trouble shooting and unplanned repairs.

Yes I take that onboard but a typical Mercedes customer doesn't shop around saving money, they take it to the dealership & get a courtesy car while the work is done.
