Originally bought into EVE on the strength of the Omniblend product - which now being distributed in China through Eagle Health (also ASX listed)
some disturbing posts on Eagle health - disturbing in that the business models of Chinese companies are a little different to Aus companies - nothing wrong there but sometimes hard to know where the cash is going and how it is used.
there was a big marketing push (for Omniblend) by eagle health around 6m ago - so would like to see the retail figures.
meantime it appears that EVE are remaining true to their business model of investing in alternative health products - they obviously see merit in the honey product, but it's a very crowded market - but a single standout product can catch on - usually as a combination of smart marketing and word of mouth.
intrigued by the fermented honey product - Mead has been around for centuries and still a very pleasant drink - there are often small producers in Aus that sell mead in fairs and foodie markets - mead from hemp honey is catchy - again marketing needs to be sublime
anyone yet registered 'Buzzmead' or 'Mead-Buzz'
certainly can market this to the greenies and luvvy - duvvies
