You're right Paul. But doesn't that make the coalitions NBN plan the more sensible option? i.e when this technology is ready to be rolled out, they simply chuck up a wireless tower at each "node" and bingo, the last mile is converted from copper to wireless. It would mean limited people for each mobile basestation and great coverage in any populated area.
