Highlights were undoubtedly both Saracen and Doray, with Saracen already well known to us, but making great headway at Red October and Whirling Dervish. Doray presents as a new but exceptional high grade low cost gold play.

1. Saracen Minerals
Saracen is well known to the Evans and Partners team, and has come under a little criticism of late due to the
significant cash burn the company is currently experiencing. Having been on site and viewed the progress, we applaud the burn given the results it is generating.
The Red October pit is now dewatered (a mere 10m at the base of the pit), with a portal set to commence shortly and drilling to commence shortly thereafter. Early results from the salt lake drilling have been positive, with
Saracen expected to commence follow up drilling within 6 months. The current resource at Red October includes a 60g/t top cut. If no top cut is applied, the grade increases 65% to 14g/t. We view Red October as likely to add 60-70k ounces to annual production .
Saracen plans to batch treat three 20kt parcels of Red October material through Carosue Dam, with the first batch set for the June Quarter 2012.
Elsewhere, with so many drill ready targets, including the continued at depth extensions at Whirling Dervish, step out at Karari, deeper drilling at Twin Hills, Safari Bore, Deep South, we can fully understand where the cash is go-ing (and the exploration budget has been doubled to $25m).
Saracen has target production of over 200k ounces by 2014, potentially lifting to 250k ounces per annum the fol-lowing year. These targets do either assume a plant upgrade or a further plant to the north.
