I have been sceptical about SLR for some time and got out last year (had a brief 3 cent/share losing fling with it this year before returning this month), but not to the extent that it would need more money. I correctly judged that it deserved a much lower valuation.

Basically the guidance provided by Lord? Les to the market just a few weeks ago that they could live with an AUD POG at 1300 was pure nonesense.

The sooner they mothball Murchison the better. They need to get Mt Monger fixed first so that it is operating at the promised 300k ounces per annum. This would mean actually upgrading both existing plants. I wonder if they will spin some story that in the light of the higher POG they will use the funds raised for that purpose.

Back to 50 cents for this woofer.
