Real NCM price movements only occur on the ASX. All the NYSE appears to have done in recent months is reflect the closing ASX price for exchange rate movement.

Trading on the TSX is virtually non-existent. I doubt this will change until Newcrest makes a share issue offer via the TSX. A significantly improved operating performance seems a prerequisite before that is likely to occur.

Whatever the reasons behind today's price jump it is long overdue and thoroughly welcomed. I hope it continues!
