Well, the share price had HALVED.
This is a bit of a sign that we thought the next several years will be different.
Not good different.....bad different.
For a company that averaged about 1.70 dividend per share for the last five years to be expecting even half that. Lets say it will only pay half that going forward. You are looking at 0.85 per annum, franked, which with full franking is today a 8% yield.
Better than the bank deposit rates.
So if WBC returns to half profit, there will be a lot of winners.
The pendulum will swingeth again.
