    of course, as I wrote last time you asked this, cost of living has increased. as it does every time inflation gets out of hand.

    but the ability of people to sustainably manage increasing costs has been diminished under the LibNats with their suppression of real wages growth for 9 years. so people are starting way behind before the election.

    obviously CPI is the course of covid-originated inflationary costs working through the economy. rental rates too are a factor from covid as people abandoned their shared houses during lockdowns.

    this will soon end and the RBA and ABS are showing the data which shows such improvements in the ability of the poorest workers to manage cost of living better.
