    would i pay 25% more? my answer is no.

    But when u buy bullion from mint, and or local bullion dealers, they collect your id etc.. and over a certain amount (forgot how much) you actually need to fill in a form with your TFN This might come back to bite you by way of future taxes on capital gains or new bullion tax?

    ebay, local pawn shops and direct purchases obviously dont go through these, so the possibility of people escaping tax or even laundering money is present via these private sales

    Just my thoughts on the question raised.
