I don't think you need to worry too much about your grand children having to pay of all this debt as I suspect it is going to spiral into an impossible task and will be eventually be just written off in exchange for some sort of political power deal over Australia.
Both Liberal and Labor have been slowly selling everything Australian to foreign investors over the years for short term economic gains. So one day when debts become too much the Governments we vote for will simply hand over political power to these foreign powers.
Just my opinion of what these two major political parties are doing to Australia.
