bruceyg, I thought about Murphy and the current family law act as you do. However, it was passed into law after Fraser took over. Murphy may have drawn up the law and pushed it, but both sides of parliament voted for it in the end.
By the way, we can thank the great communicator for no fault divorce, Regan in California in, I believe, 1969, or there abouts.
