I don’t know why I think it but I’m wondering if some people believe (stupidly) that the surrounding fundamentalist Muslim countries are either sweetness and light (with plenty of evidence to the contrary being ignored) or are still in the dark ages because of their socially repressive views and thus incapable of running any sophisticated propaganda machine. Add to that a current belief (that repeats age old anti semitic conspiracies ) that anything against these countries or terrorists is the result of a world wide Jewish hold over the media, and we have distortion.

it's the way when zealots put pen to paper. logic goes by the wayside and irrational hatred's and conspiracy theories get another airing.
