Regarding gaps, it all depends on your timframe of reference...gaps arent just for those who trade by the daily chart. For example there may be a gap in the daily but those looking at the weekly may disagree and so on. In our case there was an intra day gap from 9.8c, which when the sp traded at 9.9c, some say would have been filled.

mljet, dont pretend you are doing the market a favour by allowing bullish holders the chance to buy more stock, rewarding late bulls with a cheap fill is not part of an efficient market. The reality is that shorting is allowed so brokers and the ASX can generate more revenue and create additional volatility via artificial supply. Dont get me wrong, I accept that it is part of our market and understand that you are just using a tool at your disposal to try and make a dollar, just dont pretend its something its not :)
