BD I won't pretend to know the answer to that, only that I'm prepared for the possibility (among others). To me our chart has similarities to Nikkei around 1995, which is the kind of market I had in mind (more so than the 1930's Dow). Down, but not straight down, occasionally some very bullish periods, but never able to go on to make new highs, and sentiment slowly being sapped as each attempt fails.
But for now I am loaded up with banks, talk about bargains! lol
