SGH burnt its fingers on the VIOXX matter, and is moving away from self-funding litigation. If you pull up the most recent SGH annual report and search for the word "funding", you will quickly learn what is happening in this space at SGH.

SGH used to get some disbursenment funding from ASK Funding Limited, but ASK is withdrawing from this business, and SGH has found an alternative source of external disbursement funding from Equal Access Funding. SGH used Comprehensive Legal Funding LLC in both the Centro and Nufarm class actions.
