Of course Banks dont want to swap debt for equity.Thats because the banks dont want to take any share in this outfit, who would.
In my opinion i believe when banks get their backs against the wall like this and start looking for a "new investor"(not themselves)to get on board with some cash, its either a scavenger investor at best or the banks pulling the plug and liquidating the company and getting what they can to pay down the debt they are owed.
I cant believe how all this has unfolded over the past few years and it just goes to show that a "blue chip" is nothing but a pure punt.What has management ben doing to our so called blue chip pfffft.
