Thanks Wooduk , I didn't realize it was a popular place for day trippers although I think alot of folks use the marina to store boats and many must use it for fishing as well ? which will surely be impacted by the new dock and increase in ships ?
I forgot they had a rail line down the rd which may get an upgrade but what concerns me is the amount of traffic especially trucks which will head to Melb so surely they will impact all those new suburbs around Cranbourne , Somerville and those areas ? Would hate to live in that area if mega trucks hit the roads and or the highway becomes a freeway which is obvious ?
I forgot about Cerberus as used to compete in autox down there years ago on the base .
I might spend a day or so down there in the next few weekends to see . I do recall the marina , pier and swim centre was impressive but wasn't a fan on anything else . That part of the world is not a good swimming spot either from memory ? but nor is Flinders , Shoreham ? Where as port philip bag is super for 2 months of the year .lol
