Thanks Wooduk , I didn't realize it was a popular place for day trippers although I think alot of folks use the marina to store boats and many must use it for fishing as well ? which will surely be impacted by the new dock and increase in ships ?

You might want to try and have a look at the whole plan for the new port facility at Hastings . I believe part of the plan is an inland port ( for trucks ) south of Berwick and a fully automated freight rail line from there to Hastings .
